Website of an IB Certified School
Introduction
Surana Schools was launching a new school thats IB certified in Chennai. However for it's upcoming school the current website that served all of the Surana Schools did not suffice. Given the importance of this school a new website and a complete new social media presence for this was executed.
The Concept
The website had to be a catch all for different kind of audiences, however each type of user should be able to get the right information, stay interested, focused and really want to share the website with friends, family etc.
The Problem
The Objective
Create a distinct website that can attract parents, teachers and students across all grades. It is a website that is aesthetically pleasing while being practical and user friendly at the same time.
Goals
Awareness
Create awareness amongst parents offering and guiding them about the great benefits at an IB school.
Build Interest
Attract students by offering them a good choice of activities to pursue through out the year.
Reach Brilliance
Appear to be a top choice for IB teachers in the vicinity to get hired, connect with great students and nurture them for greatness.
The Process
Personas
To build this new website from scratch while preserving the spirit of Surana Schools, it was crucial to understand the users. This ensured we provided the right information and reflected the school's values.
The Map / Structure
Using the research we had gathered I created a structure followed by user journeys that represented the best way the information can be communicated and shared with users and at time gathered information from the user themself.
